COLOUR CAKE FOUNDATION Resistant to heat and perspiration, colour cake is excellent in humid conditions and preferred as body make up for dancers. This foundation alternative is also great for sensitive oilier complexion and was developed by a former Max Factor chemist. Ben Nye Makeup is Water-activated Color Cake Makeup is used for face and body. New neutral-beige and olive tones offer a variety and subtlety previously not available in cake makeup. Color cake's smooth consistency provides excellent coverage, yet is light in texture without "chalkiness." Powder is not required, so it is "low maintenance" foundation, is great for the body as well as face. Color cake is often preferred for oily or sensitive skin and holds up well under heat and perspiration. For Best Results: Wet sea or Hydra Sponge in water; wring out excess moisture. Mix sponge into cake to form a creamy consistency. Apply to skin with a stippling motion. While still damp, "pat" foundation lightly with fingers to even out tone, then buff when dry to remove excess color. For a waterproof application, blend 90% LiquiSet with 10% Final Seal. Use in place of water to apply cake. Remove with Hydra Cleanse water cleanser or wet wipes.
